Pastor Nominating Committee

The Pastor Nominating Committee is continuing to make progress in its search for a candidate to recommend as FPC’s next pastor/head of staff. It has assessed more than 60 persons, has checked with references on a few and next week will begin the process of telephone interviews with the same few. That is expected to further reduce the list. After that will be an invitation or two to Findlay so that personal visits can occur. It is not possible to accurately project how much time will be needed for those actions. We will keep the congregation informed as we move along. We can say with confidence, however, that we are enthused about the quality of candidates who are interested being our pastor.
